Campanile Hotel & Restaurant Gent, Ghent

The hotel had clean and comfortable rooms, outstanding service, and a brilliant location. However, the dining experience was below average with overpriced breakfast. The facilities were basic but well-maintained.

The service was friendly but had some lapses in providing essential amenities. The location is industrial but provides easy access to major routes. The dining experience was below expectations. Overall, a practical choice for a brief stopover but with some shortcomings to consider.

The hotel is conveniently located near the E40 in a quiet area with secure parking, making it a good base to explore just outside of Ghent. While the rooms are very clean and comfortable, the smell of stale smoke at the back of the hotel was a downside. The service was helpful overall, but there were issues with promised complimentary breakfast not being available. Dining options were a bit expensive, prompting us to have breakfast elsewhere. The brilliant location offers easy access to motorways, although it's impossible to leave the window open due to bugs without spray.
